History: This neighborhood was developed by the J.R. Chisman Development Company. The custom homes were built by local builders including Randall Sarfan Builder, Bickford Company, McDaniel Home Builders, Wayne Harbin Builder, The Kicotan Company, Virginia Trusses and CR McLellon. Most homes were built in the 1980s and 1990s.

Awards: The residents of St. George’s Hundred were named a PRIDE community for the work done to improve the watershed environs of the neighborhood.

Homes, Lots, & Prices: Lots are spacious, with most being between 0.50 acres and 1.50 acres.  Mature trees are found throughout most lots. Homes feature three to five bedrooms, with 1800 to 3100 square feet. Most homes are valued between $200,000 and $300,000.

Schools: Residents of St. George’s Hundred attend Williamsburg-James City County schools. This includes Clara Byrd Baker Elementary, Hornsby Middle and Jamestown High. Local institutions of higher education include Thomas Nelson Community College and The College of William and Mary.
