Homes for sale in Creekside Landing

Truly an inviting community, Creekside Landing is home to friendly people, an active homeowner’s association and beautiful natural surroundings. Situated on the banks of Queen’s Creek in Williamsburg, the wooded setting is full of wildlife and native botanicals. With the Colonial Parkway and New Quarter Park just minutes away, this secluded area is the perfect retreat.

History: Queen’s Creek has been used as a defensive border since 1611, when locals were concerned with Native American attacks and started a project to build a fortification called a palisade along the creek. During 1611-22, the area experienced peace and the project was not taken up again until much later. In 1632, the General Assembly offered land tracts to settlers in the Queen’s Creek area, and the construction of a palisade started the next year. Now, the beautiful creek and wetlands are environmentally protected in this largely residential area of Williamsburg.
