Secluded and intimate, Fieldcrest is made up of 78 homes in large, wooded lots. Classic designs prevail, many in traditional brick styles. The small number of homes creates a close relationship within the neighborhood community, with residents often bonding at the pool or tennis courts.

History: Development of Fieldcrest began in the late 1980s. New homes were built regularly until 2000, using local builders Ron Staples and CR McClellon. 

About the homes: Fieldcrest homes range in value from $300,000 to almost $600,000. Sizes of lots vary from 0.4 to 1.0 acres. Most homes have between 2,800 and 4,500 square feet of living space, including the square footage of the garage. Some homes are situated on a small cove of Beaver Pond with water frontage, but most are interior, wooded lots.

Homeowners Association: ​Homeowners are required to be members in the Fieldcrest Homeowners Association. Dues are $125 per quarter and include use of amenities, management and common area and pool maintenance.

Schools: ​Residents of Fieldcrest attend Williamsburg-James City County schools including Matoaka Elementary,  Hornsby Middle and Jamestown High. Local institutions of higher education include Thomas Nelson Community College and The College of William and Mary.

Commuting: ​Although nestled away in the outskirts of Williamsburg, Fieldcrest is convenient to restaurants, shopping and dining. Commuting to Fort Eustis is an easy 35-minute drive and Langley Air Force Base just 45 minutes. Richmond is one hour away..
